Oh my days! While I have tried a lot of new colas lately it has been ages since I had a new COKE. Then I randomly bumped into Strawberry Coke while eating goat’s feet of all things.
Well, the skinny is that I was bloody lucky as despite being around since 2023 in China, Strawberry Coke is a very rare Pokémon to find indeed!

What the Strawberry Coke?
Strawberry Coke is one of a number of fruit-flavoured Coke variants that have appeared around the world over the years, particularly in Asia. Japan has long been known for getting some of the more unusual Coca-Cola releases, while China officially introduced Strawberry Coke in 2023. Despite this, it is still not exactly easy to find and remains something of a rare beast.
The launch also comes at a time when flavoured soft drinks are becoming increasingly popular in China. Consumers are showing a growing appetite for fruit-based variants and limited-edition releases, leading to companies constantly experimenting with new flavours in an increasingly crowded market.
How is Strawberry Coke?
OK, so despite trying to watch my blood sugar this pink little bottle was just irresistible. Full fat, full sugar and honestly the strawberry element really complements the natural caramel of Coke and leaves a great finishing aftertaste. I had got this to have with a meal, but had knocked back half before it came.
And here is where I learned another gem, Strawberry Coke goes great with spicy food, in this case goat’s feet, basically cleansing your palate. I did not though get to have it with liquor although I would say it would be amazing with rum.
Overall a great bloody success, and one I would buy again. A good steady 8/10 on Strawberry Coke on ColaQuest.
