When it comes to Cola Quest Germany is without doubt the big hitter when it comes to artisan and quirky colas that are actually quite good. Of these my second favorite would be the truly historical Sinalco Cola, which in parts of the country is even more prevalent that even Coke itself.

As Sinalco comes primarily in a glass bottle it already scores mucho points. For whatever reason cola just tastes so much better in a glass bottle. In fact the glass bottle itself makes it somewhat of a cult classic in Germany. Taste wise it is far less sweet than the American stuff and has more of a citrus twang to it. This of course helps it massively when it comes to mixing with liquor.
So! Sinalco vs Liquor! I paired it with vodka, as well as Jager, the later of which it acted a chaser for. Honestly it was just exquisite, seemingly being built even more so as a mixer than just a cold brew of its own.
Cola Quest score? A good firm 8/10 – not as good as the East German Vita Cola, but still bloody good.
